1. Weak transcendence - integration (interpolation, extrapolation), being beyond the limits of current possibility
   1. (extrapolation past every point which has been observed)
2. Strong transcendence - new axes entirely. From a higher element in the same category to a new category entirely.
   1. New categories cannot be compared, cannot be matched.
   2. Aizen, Ichigo.
   3. Qualitative difference, rather than quantitative.
      1. Mission to formalize ‘qualitative’ differences, making them quantitative
3. Being unknowable, unmeasurable, unseeable from the level below
   1. Higher intelligences, God.
4. Lower state is trivially accomplishable by the higher state
   1. Bankai
5. Set theoretic - one set dominates another, in that it fully contains the other but also contains orders of magnitude more
6. A new frame, replacing deeply held assumptions.
   1. Ex. Beyond physics, beyond physical laws
7. Above material reality
   1. Conceptual
   2. Spiritual
8. Gestalts (wholes that are more than the sum of their parts, via generalization)
9. Heights of abstraction (that which is ultimately general, universal)
   1. Unity of knowledge, Consilience
10. A level that is utterly unaffected by the level below. It cannot be touched or accessed.
11. Outside of.

Trans. On the other side of. Crossing the boundary. Above. Beyond. Outside.
Crossing the bridge. Crossing the divide. Crossing the threshold.
Changed.

Transcend function: Whatever the domain, use this to generate what transcendence in that domain can look like (in 5-6 different ways)
